Canyon Ranch Tucson, the world famous award winning Wellness resort and Spa, decided to undertake its first sales mission to the United Kingdom. Targeting potential partners throughout the UK, Canyon Ranch wanted to gain a better understanding of the market and establish relationships to help develop its brand positioning, so they asked the Arizona Travel Collection to advise and organize the sales mission.
The Arizona Travel Collection attended IT Berlin, the world’s largest travel show, with over 10,000 exhibitors and over 110,000 trade visitors. Pre-arranged meetings were held with some 23 operators from Germany and other European countries, to develop new relationships with the members of The Arizona Travel Collection by ensuring they are included in the operator’s future brochures and programs.
The Arizona Travel Collection will be attending the World Travel Market in London between 8th-11th November. WTM is staged annually and is the world’s premier business-to-business event for the travel industry. The Arizona Travel Collection will be meeting with some of the top tour operators in the UK and Europe with pre-arranged appointments along with many opportunities to meet with those international buyers attending WTM. The Arizona Travel Collection successfully joined the Scottsdale Convention and Visitors Bureau for a 5 day Sales Mission to the United Kingdom. From London to the North of England, some 20 appointments with top tour operators and agencies were held in 4 cities. Many new relationships were established for the Collection’s members.
